Jukebox the Ghost and The Mowgli’s at The Truman

Photos + Words by Amanda Burris

Jukebox the Ghost and the Mowgli’s “Making Friends Tour” was opened by the lively Arrested Youth. Their music contrasted Jukebox’s and the Mowgli’s indie-pop sound with a heavy punk influence. Jukebox the Ghost’s was next on stage and their set was fun and fresh. The use of a baby grand piano was unique and a fresh element to live performance. The Mowgli’s only continued the same energy that had been on stage before. With lots of crowd interaction and the connection to Kansas City, Missouri, they certainly were a crowd pleaser.
