Indiana four-piece Hoops have proven with their debut album Routines that they are a unique band in this day and age. Their dreamy, repetitive beats are a refreshing break from the standard music being put out, resembling a revived, and well-revised shoegaze band. While on tour, Hoops supported the Clientele coming to Boston for a night of bursting beachy vibes in the midst of a gloomy fall day. The band played several favorites like the jazzy, nostalgic Gemini and the “one song you can probably dance to,” Rules.
